A couple of interesting observations: CNN’s mentioners were the most-male of any network, around 3-to-1. E! News is almost exactly the opposite. And with Piers Morgan now fading away from CNN, it will be interesting to see if the mentions of UK soccer start to disappear from cable news Twitter…
With both hosts back in the seat of MSNBC’s Saturday morning shows, the day was much stronger for the network that it’s been in weeks. Up with Steve Kornacki had the best hour over all, but it was a close race between it and The Melissa Harris-Perry Show.
Interesting to see that protest hashtags won the day on Friday, with #cancelcolbert and #boycottcnn taking the top two positions…

CNN managed to win the best hour with AC 360, and the network continued to achieve the largest volume of discussion on Twitter as a whole.
