Benghazi continues at a low boil, but until there’s new news I don’t expect it to boil over again. Both of these topics, like the missing Malaysia Airlines flight, suffer from a much longer arc that can hold the attention of the 24/7 news cycle. Will one of them pop back up on news? Or will some new excitement come along?

Morning Joe came on strong on Wednesday, taking best hour at 8am and doing nearly as well at 7am. The Rachel Maddow Show had a strong day as well; given that the show doesn’t put social media, a strong hour demonstrates unusually high engagement.
