Wednesday was all Hannity — best hour and best day. But what’s really interesting is that both the Fox and MSNBC shows were lit up on Twitter like a christmas tree plugged into a 240 volt line. From the analysis of topics discussed, we can see that the border situation was driving both the left- and right-wing media.
In the 9pm slot, for example, both The Kelly File and The Rachel Maddow show got around 2K mentions during the slot and around 5K mentions throughout the day. Other POV shows managed similarly large results.
CNN, on the other hand, did not benefit from the uptick in Twitter conversations. This suggests a couple of things. First, the conversation was deeply partisan.
