While Ebola was the dominant topic on Twitter on Saturday, a quirk of the stats pushed “Moon” to the most popular word because of this tweet:

Had they only used the word moon once, ebola would have won (we’ll ignore the word “will”, which occasionally is a person’s name but not today, and #CashinIn isn’t a topic per se). So, we can say that Ebola was eclipsed by the moon…
Ebola is still the top topic in Cable News Twitter, despite ISIS’s desperate attention-mongering to try to move to the top of the news.
