Ensemble shows like The View, The Five, and The Cycle are interesting to look at from the perspective of engagement. On one hand, there is a thing which is the show and people watch it. But then there are the hosts, and that’s who people engage with. But with numerous hosts, it’s hard to tell if the host is getting engagement outside of the context of the show or inside. So, in general, it’s notable when the hosts of a show get high engagement during the broadcast of the show but less notable outside of it.
On Friday, “The Five”, show and hosts, got the most mentions during it’s broadcast hour. With Benghazi being the top topic of the day, I think it’s safe to say that Benghazi is getting worked over again for a little bit of Fox outrage…
