The Ed Show ends the week with a bang, getting the most mentions during a broadcast hour of any show on cable news. Wow … The Rachel Maddow Show had the best day overall yesterday, and The Ed Show had the best hour. Rachel isn’t normally dominant on Twitter, so this is quite the day for her. The mentions seem to be triggered by a deluge of #SOSVenezuela tweets, where people are lobbying via Twitter for coverage of events in that country. It’s kind of interesting to see; when Ukrainian protests first fired up there was a similar deluge of tweets tagged with #Euromaiden. Is this a harbinger of things to come?
It will be interesting to see if Rachel Maddow responds to the lobbying…
