Some days cable news is like a teenage boy. Yesterday, it was a teenage girl (or at least memories of being one), with tags related to “Mean Girls'” 10th anniversary taking second, sixth, and seventh place. Had they been all one hashtag, they would have dominated all other tags.
Oh yeah, Benghazi. Which brings to mind the following quote from the movie: “Gretchen, stop trying to make fetch happen. It’s not going to happen.”
The trending topics are … Donald Sterling and Benghazi. I guess Fox News is on reruns this week?
And so the #HottieOfTheWeek and Donald Sterling managed to be the top trending topics for Monday. I’m pretty sure Sterling was not the hottie of the week, however…
