Cable News Twitter was talking about Syria and ISIS yesterday, but specifically about President Obama. Of all the words and hastags used on Wednesday (apart from stop words), “Obama” was used more often by far: approximately 10% of Cable News tweets mentioned him.

ISIS and the USA’s attacks in Syria were the top topics in Cable News Twitter on Tuesday. Obama is third most popular word being used, while #celebratenvrd (For National Voters Registration Day) was the seventh most popular hashtag.

The launching of attacks on ISIS in Syria topped the trending topics in Cable News Twitter on Monday. When you look at the word cloud, it’s seldom that the words used are so consistently negative.
Thank you, Russia, for sending your planes so close to US and Canadian airspace that you got everyone talking on Twitter. You managed to dominate the conversation and break the monotony of my having to write about an ISIS win that would have happened without you.
